Preparing a scary pumpkin stencil will help in easy carving and creating more detailed scary image. A stencil will be beneficial while carving eyes, nose or mouth.
To prepare a scary pumpkin stencil, you first select a scary image on your computer. The image should have shadows and defined shapes to make the pumpkin look scary. You can also select images with a good combination of light and dark colors. After selecting the image, open it in Photoshop. De-saturate your selected image and change the brightness to 60%. Using pencil tool color the foreground with black so that it is easy to cut the stencil. Finally, crop the image and take a print out of your desired scary image.
Now you can trim off the excess paper and the black areas of the printed paper. Your custom scary pumpkin stencil is now ready for use.
Using this stencil, you can now create various scary pumpkins to scare people or use as a home décor.
